How We Can Support Your Ambition
We want to empower people with ambition, inspire hard work and build confidence to believe that dreams can come true. To this end, we are proud to be working in partnership with schools and settings on their creative learning journeys.
Schools, groups and individuals can accredit their activity with us in a number of ways:
Arts Award inspires young people to grow their arts and leadership talents: it's creative, valuable and accessible. Arts Award offers accreditation over five levels, four qualifications and an introductory award.
We are delighted to be part of the Arts Award Supporter programme and registered as Arts Awards Advisors for Explore & Discover levels. Young people undertaking any level in Arts Award can meet, work with and find out more about professional artists and their work through our projects.

Artsmark is the creative quality standard for schools and education settings awarded by Arts Council England. Artsmark supports settings to develop and celebrate their commitment to high quality arts and cultural education with three available awards: Silver, Gold or Platinum.
Artsmark is open to primary, secondary and special schools, pupil referral units, youth offending teams and sixth form colleges.

Animate Arts is proud to be working in partnership with schools and education settings on their Artsmark journey. By helping Artsmark settings, we’re helping put the arts at the heart of the curriculum, inspiring children and young people to create, experience, and participate in great arts and culture.
We offer the following opportunities to education settings who are working towards, or currently hold an Artsmark Award:
• Creative workshops and projects led by artists for either pupils or staff
• Arts projects tailored to different or combined key stages/year groups
• The opportunity to explore combined and visual arts practices
• Learning links to a range of National Curriculum subjects, including English, Maths and Computing
• In addition to the far-reaching learning outcomes to which all our projects aspire, we take particular pride in developing leadership skills and teamwork, self-confidence and communication
In 2019 we supported all eight lead schools who took part in Year 1 of our flagship arts-in-education programme Art Builders to undertake an Artsmark journey. One of these, St Alphege CE Infant School, was awarded their Gold award in the course of the year, for their commitment to putting creativity at the heart of the curriculum, with much of their evidence being Animate Arts inspired work.
